I wrote Year 3000 about the dream of the future. I wanted the video to take a different approach to the message, and reflect the desire many have to go back to the past.

The video touches on Charlotte's want to go back to 2000, the year her mum was growing up - despite living in. the future many then would have thought about. 

Like most of my songs, Year 3000 comments on society and our ability to move backwards and forwards at the same time. The music video shares the same message as the song and was designed to make people appreciate 'the good old days' whilst we are living them.
